Client Problem: 

Provide absolute maximum density of record storage boxes for client with rapidly expanding operations.

Applied Handling's Solution:

Applied Handling designed, engineered, and installed a high-bay storage system incorporating conventional pallet racks.  Narrow aisle order pickers were selected for loading/unloading of the storage system.  The project encompassed developing a long-range plan to maximize storage capacity in the newly acquired facility.  To help meet budget constraints, a phased plan was developed.

Utilizing 27 foot high racks, a system was built to facilitate storage and access to tens of thousands of archive boxes.  The first phase was completed on budget and on time.  Our efforts included close coordination with the efforts of sprinkler and electrical contractors.
